Final Fantasy 14 Conjurer Guide - Power Leveling Methods For A Conjurer

Are you beginning to level up a character in Final Fantasy 14? If you are starting out and need a quick Conjurer leveling guide to help you begin power leveling then this article is just for you. Let's get into it and find a few tips that can really give you some more experience per hour, which is the general rate at which you're leveling.
Start in a Good Spot
A lot of people try different cities to see which they like and then end up in a weird situation where they have quests from multiple places and don't really focus down. This is the biggest problem that I'm aware of because it just slows you way down. Instead of doing this you should pick one place, stick to it, and then see it through. Finding a good spot is also about finding an area with few people and a lot of mobs. You want a ton of creatures around you so that no time is wasted as you can move from mob to move and get experience.
Don't Over Accept Quests
This is another issue which slows people down a ton. Instead of accepting quests above your level, and trying to kill mobs that are way above our level, you should focus on mobs and creatures that are around the same as you. If you're level 40, don't try and defeat something level 42. Sure, you can do it, but it will take much longer than killing something that is level 38 - and the experience is going to be roughly the same. Always doing quests when they're a bit lower than you is key because you can do them so quickly that it's an easy way to power level.
Use Your Range to Power Level
Any Conjurer leveling guide should have this part in it, and that's using your advantages for your benefit. Since you're a conjurer you can attack from range, so you should attack mobs primarily that don't have ranged attacks that they can use back at you. This will help you because they might barely touch you since you'll defeat them by the time they reach you.
Using A Step by Step Conjurer Guide To Quickly Level Up And To Earn Lots Of Gil
It's highly recommended that if you want to power level your conjurer, and if you want to earn lots of gil with your character also, that you use a step by step guide.

I think you'll go really fast since they have a ton of step by step quests and they tell you which ones you should skip altogether. Final Fantasy 14 Blacksmith Guide - Power Leveling Methods For A Blacksmith

Are you beginning to level up in Final Fantasy 14 and you need a quick Blacksmith leveling guide to help you out? Here are a few tips that you can take with you today to begin and I hope that it'll give you a bit of an edge in your adventure to level 50. Let's get into it and find out how you can boost up your character so you can enjoy the game at maximum level.
Quest & Level Up Blacksmithing After
I know that you probably want to level up your Blacksmith and use the skills to give you experience - after all - that's the new feature in this game. However, I think that the fastest way for you to power level is still to do the quests in a traditional manner and then level up Blacksmithing after. You can still do everything the same, just focus more on quests and less on your profession. In fact, you can still do Blacksmithing on the way whenever you have time and you can attempt to balance the two to make sure that you don't miss out too much on experience you could have otherwise been making.
Use Blacksmithing to Boost Your Experience
If you are questing then you can easily use Blacksmithing to boost your experience as you do the quests. While you're in an area you can see if you can use your blacksmithing for anything close by which will give you additional experience. It gives you a good amount as you begin to level it up so take it seriously and I think it'll help you a ton. Also, it will give you money since you can do services for other people and sell items that others can't get unless they're also blacksmiths.
Skip The Hard Quests to Help You Level Faster
You should skip the really annoying quests which make you run around and do useless things. For instance, if a quest sends you to the other continent or makes you gather rare items then you should skip it. Do them after if you want the lore effect, but for now skip it.
Using A Step by Step Blacksmith Leveling Guide To Literally Start Power Leveling
If you are playing a blacksmith in Final Fantasy 14, and if you want to power level your character then you should definitely get yourself a step by step leveling guide which contains leveling paths, color pointed maps and which will tell you exactly where to go and what quests to accept.

Final Fantasy 14 Miner Guide - Power Leveling Methods For A Miner

Are you looking for a quick Miner leveling guide to help you get to maximum level in Final Fantasy 14? If you're trying to find out how you can power level and enjoy the game properly then this quick Final Fantasy XIV article should give you a couple tips. Let's get started
Questing is the Fastest Way Possible
I know that now in this game you can level up as a miner, which is really cool because you can literally get experience for doing the profession. Instead of doing quests you could just mine your way to maximum level but I really think it's much faster questing up as quickly as you can. The main method for gaining experience is still primarily questing. There's no replacing it, and although you can reach 50 with other methods, it's the one you should stick with.
Leveling Using Mining For Experience
If you do want to try and do it the mining way then you can easily do that too. In the miner's UI you will see that you can track mining nodes, and it shows up on your screen like a blazing star. Follow the shining item and you'll see where a node is, then you can collect it and move on. This will grant you experience and give you more abilities which you can use (just like other classes.)
Stick to One City At A Time
As I was saying before I think it's much faster to quest, but you have to quest properly for that to be true. I think one of the biggest tips in any Miner leveling guide is the fact that you should only focus on one place at a time. One city, one area, one quest hub. This will really help you to knock them out rapidly and move on so that you minimize the time you are traveling and maximize the time you're actually collecting experience.
Using A Step by Step Guide To Power Level Your Miner And To Earn Lots Of Gil With It Too
It's highly recommended that if you want to power level your miner, and earn lots of gil at the same time that you use a step by step guide that goes in full detail on where to go, what quests to accept and what to kill.

This article provides players in finding their way in the adventurous world of Final Fantasy XIV. Please make use of this guide and I assure you that this will take you to the wonderful world with much excitement and fun.
First, you got to run the benchmark. You will need to visit the Final Fantasy 14 Benchmark site for you to be able to read and get the idea on the official benchmark for this game. You don't need to get discouraged. We were able to find the most high-tech computers that are scoring around 4000. The important thing here is that you will be able to get a score of 1900. Just around that range, you will surely enjoy Final Fantasy XIV game. After installing the game, and downloading the updates on the game, you need to make sure that the configuration are all good and make the necessary adjustments on the different options on graphics of your computer. Mostly, computers that are able to score 1900 - 2500 should view the game on the lowest settings. Meanwhile, the computers that got a score of 3000 and above should be able to play on default settings. It is also important to experiment with the variety of options available to be able to see which one is best for your computer. It will surely end in knowing what you care the most and in having the game run smoothly. If you need further details about the benchmark, don't hesitate to visit the Final Fantasy 14 Benchmark Site.
Installing and about Races
Now you are able to run the benchmark and your computer is able to score well. Now, you are ready to start playing the game. As mentioned earlier, there will be a lot of updates that you will need to download every now and then. FFXIV updates are on a peer to peer network. These updates may take a while. One things that we have discovered is that when your computer is hardwired to the network, downloads would usually take 2 hours but I was never able to finish the downloading of updates through wireless. This is the time where in you will need to think really hard as to what you really want to be in the game, be it a spell caster, tank, a damage dealer, or a full support character. When you get to have a final decision, this will also affect on your experience in playing the Final Fantasy XIV game.
Races
After downloading the updates, it is now time to choose your race. Each race has different strengths and weaknesses. It will be all up to you in deciding what type of class you would like to choose. Whether to specifically gear up on just one certain class or if you choose a race that is all about average and can do variety of tasks.
Here are the different types of races that you can choose from:
Elezen - good in up-close damages
Hyur - not so good and not so bad on anything
Lalafell - good in magic
Migo'te - Good damage
Roe gadyn - this means having a Meat Shield where it can take a massive amount of damage
Each type of race have their own variations as well. Please keep this in mind so that you will be able to decide as to what you really want to do in the game of Final Fantasy 14.
Next is, you will need to think about your character's birthday and Guardian sign. These two have an effect on the character that you have chosen. Yet, it is too early for us to know and tell what the Guardian really is for. I have chosen the Conjurer as my character and I will focus on the fire spells. I just hope that I have chosen the correct Guardian sign of fire to be able to boost my damage rate with my Fire spells. It is too early to be able to see that this is a good choice but hoping for good results in casting my fire spells to my enemies from here on.
Beginning Final Fantasy XIV and the System for Battle
After choosing your character and race, you are certainly ready to get started in the game.
Just for the sake of having a guide, let's start with Limsa Lominsa as our city. In the game, your first location is in a boat that is bound for Limsa Lominsa City. While on voyage, ship suddenly is under pressure and you will need to fight against monsters that will be attacking the ship. This is basically a tutorial for beginners in the game and will surely help you in learning about the FFXIV especially with the battle system.
If you already have experienced playing the FFXIII, you will be able to notice some of the elements of the battle system are somewhat alike in FFXIV. One of the important things that you should learn first is the usage of Stamina Gauge. Most of the Massively Multiplayer Online or MMO's abilities and attacks are based on a rolled dice. FFXIV would really make you feel that you are in control of your own character and the abilities that you have enabled. Before, you really have to wait until your character's animation is done before you can make use of a different ability. Now, you can make use of the ability as long as your stamina is enough. Another tip is for you to use the TAB key so that you will be able regenerate the skills quickly while attacking. For sure you will be having so much fun while you are on battle and you would watch your comrade getting knocked out using this tip.
Another tip is you can disengage your character by pressing F key. This will regenerate your health while you are not in combat. While you are walking around, press the F key and the weapon will be taken out.
Setting up and Fighting
Talking about actions in the game of FFXIV, it actually gives you the ability for you in setting actions to the number keys. Make sure that you have strategies in mind in setting up the keys. For example, if you are using a Conjurer, you will need to make sure that you have Cure Spell set up just in case things go wrong. If you are using the "meat Shield ", make sure that you cast boosts to be able to raise your defense system. This would depend on the level that your character is in, you will have a certain number of actions that is accessible to you. Whenever your character levels up, try to visit the "Action and Traits" menu just by pressing Home key and equip your characters with new abilities and spells for it to learn.
Before you set out and attack all the mobs on site, it is very important for you to understand that you do have the ability in winning the encounter. Whenever you have targeted a monster, you will be able to see a colored shield that will appear in the target box next to the mob's name. One general rule is that if you are going to see a yellow or red target sign, this is a sign of you not having any chances of survival against the monster. However, if you see a green or a blue emblem, you may go ahead and fight. These colors do change but will depend on the number of people in your party, rank and level.
Leveling Up
In FFXIV, the experience system is quite different compared to the other MMORPG games. There are actually 2 levels that you need to be concerned of. First is the physical level. The physical level will be leveled up anytime and by anything that you do in the game. Whether you do fishing, mining, or even battling with an enemy, you will be able to earn points for your physical level. As this increases, you will be given attribute points and element points. There are a lot of ways for you to be able to use these points but always remember to use this wisely and only to benefit your character. For example, if you are using a Tank, you will need to use these points in your Vitality stats. If your character has a great damage dealer, you will need to supply Strength points, to be able to add more damage points. Meanwhile, the element points are really tricky. You have to understand as to when and how to use them. To the best of my knowledge, they are supplemental abilities and defense points/stats.
While you are engaging an enemy for a certain job, you will actually gain points that will increase the rank of that certain job. As your rank increases, you will notice that you have new abilities that are accessible to you that were not available before. However, you also find that your abilities are limited to the action points that you have earned. It does not mean that you have earned a new ability would also mean that you can use it immediately. Each ability is equal to a certain amount of action points. You will only be able to use a particular amount of abilities due to the limitations of the action points as well. So you will need to make sure that you are using the action points wisely every time you earn a rank. You will also find abilities that are really not that useful and you may discard them so that you will be able to make use with the abilities that are more powerful with enough action points for it.
Your first Quests
So, the very question that comes into mind would be, "What should I do now?".
Now, you already know how to use your points wisely, the functionality of the leveling system, choosing your race, etc. You have gained a lot of information and certainly, you are now ready to play the game. There is just another problem though. The Final Fantasy XIV is considered to be a huge game and you will certainly lose your way around the game. You must not fear if you still do not know the way around the game since we will show the way around. All you need to do is read on.
After getting off the boat, you will need to go to Captain Hob and speak to him. He will then escort you to where the Drowning Wench is. This is also known as the Adventurer's Guild in Limsa Lominsa. Then, you will need to speak to Baderon and he will then suggest for you to visit the Camp Bearded Rock which is outside the city limits. You need to go the first level of the city. You can take the stairs of the elevator. Then, head east and then just follow the bridge until you will get out of the city measures. Just head towards north and you will find the Crystal of Aetheryte. These are the crystals that are a mainstay all through out the adventure in the game of FFIXV. You will be able to get quests and read a very lengthy tutorial guide about this game. I would recommend for you to take time to read through the tutorial text since this will certainly help you with your adventure. These crystals have ability in replenishing your character's HP and MP. Aetheryte Crystals is also able to give your character the ability to bring out your Guardian's favor that will help you in increasing the amount of experience points that you will receive with the quests you will complete.
After interacting with these crystals, you will then need to go back to the Adventurer's guild in Limsa Lominsa. Speak again with Baderon and he will be giving you advice for your next task. You will be advised to go to the Cooking Guild which is found North on the 2nd level of the city. You will then be turned into a fish, an ability that you have earned battling on the boat. Baderon also has given another advise for you to head on to the Musketeers Guild that is found on the 1st level in the western part. If you feel like you are lost or you don't know where to go, just press M key to open the Map and give you a visual on where you are currently and where you are heading to. After completing the tasks given to you, go back to the Adventurer's Guild and start receiving Level Quests. I would like to suggest for you to do the level quests tutorial. This will certainly give you more information on the battle system, fishing, botany and mining. The Disciples of the land is a way for you to earn Gil on the early part of your adventure. The quests are very basic and very easy for you to complete and will quickly give you a good boost on your cash flow.
How to make a Gil
Right now, you will have few quests to do and your character has leveled up quickly and you start to realize that your gear is too weak for your character's level. So, you will then ask what to do. The answer to this is to get a job and I would suggest for you to focus on the first job, Fishing. Fishing is for the patient players who will not mind sitting down for a while at the same spot. It will surely provide you a lot of fishes for you to sell in exchange for Gil to a Non - Player Character or we refer to as an NPC. If you don't want to sell your fishes, you may use this for you to be able to try your Cooking ability. This is similar to our daily life activities. Your character also needs to eat. First, you will need to learn the art in catching fishes.
How to Fish
First, you will have to buy your own Fishing pole which is found on the first level of the city, down south. Specifically in the Fisherman's Guild. Once you have bought your first fishing pole, you will then need a bait. Get some lugworms and then head out to the docks at the right side of the Fishing Guild. Equip your character with the fishing pole in your main weapon slot and your lugworms in your packs slot. It will take time for you to be an expert in fishing and of course, not to forget the most important trait, patience. As your character levels up, you will find it easier to catch the different types of fishes.
When you have casted your line into the ocean for the very first time, you will then see a depth meter. This meter will tell you what type of fishes you are likely to get. If you are after clams, that is quite pricey in selling it to the NPCs, you will then need to learn how to fish at the bottom of the ocean. If you like to get fishes, try casting at the middle of the depth meter, or if you go for the Kelps, then you cast at the top. Unlike the perfect science, you will certainly be able to catch different types of things despite of the depth that you have casted.
Now, that you have learned about the depth meter, you will then need to learn about the jig system. When casting your line and something bites you, you can use the option to jig. This is more on the hot and cold system. You will need to check very closely on the text box for you to determine if you are getting hot or cold.
If you get to see phrases like "you are taking in line", you will need to put another jig meter back on the spot you have chosen or just close it. If you see the phrase, " The fish is taking line" this means that you will need to move the jig meter in another position. As you start, you only might be able to jig once or twice. As you rank up, you will surely be able to jig around 4 or 5 times. The more jigs that you can do, the more fishes you can catch. You will then know if you are on the hotspot because you will be able to see a little, animated flickering light on your fish pole. This means that you just do what you are currently doing and you will be able to fish out fine.
Based on my experience, you will want to stop the jig meter on your first try either by using the key J or G. when I have used this, I can certainly navigate find and be able to catch successfully.
Completing different types of quests in the game will also allow you to earn a lot of money. However, I would advise you not to rely so much on this quests as your source of income in the game. The income that you will be getting from crafting, mining and fishing is way higher compare to what you will earn from completing quests.
Changing Classes and Getting New Equipment
Now that you earned some money, it is time for you to purchase some new items for your character and on your coming soon adventures. In Limsa Lominsa City, shops are mostly found on the first level. You can simply take the elevator to go down to the 1st level and then just go left. Just walk straight until you will see multiple shops like the East Hawker's Alley or the West Hawker's alley. You will be able to buy weapons for any type of class here. One of the main features in FFXIV is the ability for you to change your jobs with just one click. All you need to do is just equip your character with the right kind of weapon for the right type of job you want. It is simple as that. If your character is a Conjurer and then you want it to be a Gladiator, then just buy a sword and you are now a Gladiator.
Always keep this in mind that it does not mean that you necessarily need to change your job just because you are able to. For example, your character is a magic user and then you want to have your character deal damage directly to your opponents. You must remember that most of your attributes are in other stats, and not on strength. Not unless, you have not used your attributes points and you want to put them on your strength. For changes like this, you might just want to create a new character that will be using pure strength.
In addition to seeing shops here, you will also be able to sell goods with other players that are selling their goods that they have earned from their adventures. I would suggest for you to buy from other players. You will certainly find good items from them that you will need. FFXIV have updates that will also include auctions with schedule for bidding. When it is time, this will be your first means of getting new items like your weapons and armor. For now, you will have to be very patient in getting the goods that you will need that is for sale.
Hopefully, at this time, you will be able to find your way around the game of Final Fantasy XIV. I hope that this guide has been able to give you a clearer picture as to what to do first and the next steps in the game. The most important thing in playing this game is that you are having fun. It is your character and your game. You are the captain of your own ship. So whatever you want to do with your character, or whatever job you would like to take, as long as you are enjoying, then go ahead and do it. Let things happen according to your own will.

Final Fantasy 14 Walkthrough - Leveling And Gil Making Walkthrough For FFXIV

If you're just starting out the game and you need a quick Final Fantasy 14 walkthrough to help you get used to it then I have a few tips that can help you out. Let's get into it and go over a few key things that you should know when beginning your adventure to reaching level 50 in Final Fantasy XIV.
Questing, The Root of All Experience
I know that you can level up through the game by not doing any quests, but I don't recommend that at all. For one, when you don't use questing as an experience tool, you're stuck with grinding. This is a really, really tedious and tough way to gain levels because there's nothing taking your mind off of what you're doing. It's very repetitive and you'll probably become very frustrated in the process.
Accept Quests in One Place At A Time
To power level you should avoid from getting quests from different areas. You should always try to focus on the one area that you're in, and then move on once you've done all the quests there. This is really important because I think that a lot of people make the same mistake of accepting a quest in a far off distance, doing it, and then going all the way back to turn it in. You should focus on one spot, then move to another. It's just more efficient.
Take Up Crafting or Gathering to Make Gil
Gil is the currency of the game - the money that you can use to buy things and trade items. Everybody needs a certain amount of Gil in the game, and I think that if you were to take up a "professional" class, whether it being a gatherer or a crafter, you can easily make a ton of Gil so that when you reach level 50 you have a lot to spend on gear and other items that can further benefit your character.
Using A Step by Step Guide To Level Up Fast, Earn Lots of Gil And To Fully Master Your Professions
If you want to earn lots of gil, easily master all professions and hit level 50 as fast as possible, then it's highly recommended that you start using a step by step guide.

It's the best one around and it has step by step quests which really skyrocket you to the maximum level.

Benefits Of Playing Anime Games

Anime games have in the recent past come to be accepted as a global phenomenon. With their roots in Japan, they have grown in leaps and bounds to reach where they are today. Anime is derived from Manga, which refers to Japanese comic books. They are basically derived from comic books. Kids are especially fond of them as they bring their favorite cartoon characters to life.
There is a wide selection to choose from. Enthusiasts are usually spoilt for choice. Some of the most famous titles include: Dragonball Z, Doraemon Fishing, Naruto Invaders, Naruto battle groung among others.
Now that anime games have gone mainstream with titles such as Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon, and Street Fighter going the anime way, we should assess the advantages that they bring to the table.
Increase hand eye coordination
They are said to increase hand-eye coordination. The action packed nature of anime games such as Dragonball Z requires that this coordination be above average. Players usually develop very strong hand eye coordination after playing them over a long period of time. This skill can be very useful in sports.
Boosts your imagination
They are based on fictional characters that do the impossible. This usually helps kids develop their imagination and hence increase their problem solving skills.
Girly Titles
In the gaming world, girls are usually neglected. Anime games have brought some semblance of equality to this space. They have a wide selection of releases that are basically targeted at girls.
Adult titles
If you feel that the available ones are too childish for you, a plethora of adult naughty titles is available. They are however strictly meant for adults so you should not let your children play them.
Persistence
Most of them help cultivate persistence in players; as they move from one level to another, they get more and more challenging. This requires a high level of persistence to complete.
Interactivity
Compared to watching anime on TV, kids can control the fate of their favorite characters. This gets them thinking instead of idling at the TV.
Better Cognitive Skills
Cognitive health is greatly improved from playing anime. This is because players have to follow set rules, solve problems and make critical decisions. They provide good mental exercise that contributes to the well being of the person.
Reduces Bad Eating habits in kids
When kids are busy playing, their minds are so absorbed that they have no time to think about eating all the time. This therefore prevents obesity caused by too much snacking.
These games are easy to learn and quite addictive.

Cosplay in Japanese Culture

Cosplay is not limited to dressing up in costumes from popular TV shows. Cosplay is also seen in traditional Japanese culture and fashion.
Coming of age ceremonies have been held in Japan since at least AD 714, when a young prince got new clothes and a hairstyle to mark their passage into adulthood. The official holiday was first established in 1948, to be held each year on 15 January. In 2000, as a result of the successful system, the Monday on which the Day Of Coming of Age was celebrated on was changed to the second Monday in January.
Many women celebrate this day with the use of Furisode (a kimono with long sleeves that hang) and zori sandals. Since most are unable to put on a kimono by themselves due to the complexities involved in dressing in one, many choose to visit a beauty salon to dress and have their hair done. A complete set of formal clothing is quite expensive, so it is usually taken from a relative or rented rather than bought for the occasion. Men sometimes wear traditional costumes (for example a dark kimono with hakama), but in modern times many men wear formal western clothes, like a suit and a tie, more often than a traditional dress.
The latest street fashion among Japanese women is the smokey eye look. It is a sultry and sexy look that is easy to achieve and which creates stunning results. The smokey eye look has been called the little black dress of make up as it is always stylish. Smokey eyes are perfect anywhere and anytime because the make up needed is not overdone and adds a little bit of mystery and allure to a woman's look. The smokey eye make up is also useful for vampire Cosplay.
Fantasy and science fiction characters have became very popular Cosplay costumes. Characters from the Star Wars, Star Trek and the Harry Potter series are some of the most popular non-manga characters to be featured in Cosplay events. Anime cartoons such as Naruto, Bleach and Final Fantasy as well as video and computer games are also popular characters to be made into Cosplay costumes. Akatsuki And Organization XIII costumes as well as the ever popular ShinRa were the most common costumes at conventions. Outside of conventions, the most popular Cosplay costumes are school girl outfits and maid uniforms.
Comic books, graphic novels and fantasy movies are also a source of inspiration for Cosplayers.

Classic RPG Games Review - Breath of Fire 4

Breath of Fire 4 is a turn-based RPG, just like Final Fantasy Series, and Dragon Warrior. But BOF 4 is not an ordinary RPG game. There are a lot of elements that make this game special, here they are:
*The battle is very fun since you can combine some powerful combos into a powerful attack (you can even unleash more than 50 combos each turn in one battle) and you can also switch any characters along the battle.
*There are a lot of mini games in BOF 4, such as fishing, puzzles, secret dungeons and also secret bosses. (Compared to previous series, it's hard to find fishing spots, but the good news is, you will get a lot of items while fishing)
*This game has beautiful 2D graphics, from the forest, until the towns. They look soft and smooth. The characters and enemies also look great and amazing.
*There are a lot of skills to master. (unfortunately, most of them are useless)
Gameplay and Story
You play as Ryu who has power to transform into a powerful dragon. You will be accompanied by Nina and Ray who have mission to find princess Elina, the sister of Nina.
Different from most RPG in PlayStation Console, BOF 4 has two storylines at the same time. Along the game, you can control both of main characters, Ryu and Fou Lu.
This game is difficult to play. Especially when you fight the last boss, Fou Lu.
Just like Ryu, Fou Lu can also transform into a powerful dragon. By the way, Fou Lu is a very cool antagonist. (i like to compare him with Zell in Final Fantasy 8)
BOF 4 unique facts and secrets:
*It takes about more than 50 hours if you want to beat the games.
*These are the dragons you can get while playing the games: Kaiser, Behemoth, Mutant, Myrmidion, Wyvern, and Aura. Kaiser itself is the strongest dragon, but unfortunately you can't control this dragon.
*This is how to get the bad ending in BOF 4: join with fou lu in the final battle and then kill all of your allies.
*In Japan, BOF 4 released with title, "Breath of Fire IV: Utsurowazaru Mono"
*This game is also adapted into manga produced by Enterbrain Company.
If you are a classic RPG games collector, you should add BOF 4 to your list.
Thanks for reading my review...

Japanese Animation - What Makes it So Unique and Popular?

If you are an animation lover, you should certainly not miss the anime series from Japan. These exciting animated movies are well known for their strong plot lines, complex stories, and some very famous saucer-eyed characters. They are popular with kids and adults from both the genders across different nations around the globe. The popularity is evident from the huge number of visitors that visit the 'Anaheim's Anime Expo', the largest annual trade show of anime and Manga in the US.
What is the reason behind this popularity and massive appeal? What makes Japanese animation so unique? The answer is simple. American animations usually target small kids and are based on short, one-episode stories. On the other hand, Japanese anime series target both kids and adults and are usually a complete serial with various episodes. Moreover, the characters in the latter are comparatively more beautiful and attractive, and the story lines are based on varied topics, ranging from politics to violent battles to personal relationships. This makes them popular with both males and females.
Needless to say, anime has become a part and parcel of American culture. From 'Spirited Away', the Oscar-winning fantasy flick by Hayao Maiyazaki, to the violent 'Ghost in the Shell' series, the and popular 'Pokeman' for kids to TV shows, such as Adult Swim, and games like 'Final Fantasy', Japanese animation has spread its roots everywhere. In fact, it was the popular Shojo anime that encouraged women to involve in video-gaming and take interest in animation, which was otherwise thought to be meant only for guys. Anime and Manga are now also known for the major change in their stylistic approach.

Mitsuru Adachi - A Great Mangaka

Mitsuru Adachi is a great mangaka and he also makes one of the best. It's not like Naruto, One Piece and Bleach but it always has a great story to it. He also published a lot of completed mangas that were highly praised. If you are thinking of action kind genre then you will be disappointed. It's more about childhood love and sports combined at the same time and it's awesome. So what kind of mangas did he write?
Touch - One of his first manga which got him praised. It's about twin brothers, one is a superstar on a baseball team and the other is a lazy punk. They are not alike in so many ways. There is also a girl in their life. Childhood friends, but once the superstar brother dies, the older has to take on his destiny. Watch what happens between the punk brother who has to take on his twins destiny and the childhood friend.
Cross Game - It's about a lazy boy who has a neighbor. They consist of two girls, the older one is more womanly while the younger is a baseball crazed fan. The older one loved the boy but once she passed away, she gave him a task to accomplish. Get to the national baseball tournament and throw the fastest ball ever. The younger blames him for his sisters death but there relationship soon takes off.
Katsu - About a kid who likes this girl from his grade. He soon finds out that her father owns a boxing gym. He then joins to get the attention of the girl. What he doesn't know is how much potential he has in boxing because of his blood.
Rough - A lazy swimmer who has never won. One girl gives him a hate mail but they soon found out they were childhood friends. He then unleashes his potential in swimming for the girl he loves. He starts to try and starts to win. See how far he goes!
Most of Mitsuru Adachi's mangas are about a lazy boy that has this huge potential. And he lets you watch them grow. They are all great mangas and I think you should read them all!

Comics 101 - What is the Post-Modern Age of Comics?

Most comic book historians and fans consider the era we're currently in as modern. But there is no doubt that something in the comic book industry has created a fundamental shift in the foundation of both the business and entertainment sides of the medium sometime in the early part of the new millennium. Soon, I think the pundits will announce that comic book publishing has entered a new age, and the previous one-the one now known as the "Modern Age" will be reclassified as something else (the most likely candidates will probably be the Platinum or Iron Ages). However, since that era has not been labeled, the only thing we can accurately call the current era of comic book publishing is the "Post-Modern" era.
In the Golden Age of comic books, any one adventure in an issue would last more than 8 pages or so, and most titles were anthologies featuring several characters in short adventures. By the Silver Age, many titles had a 12-16 page lead and a 6-8 page back up. In the Bronze Age, most comic books featured just one character or concept, often in short two- or three-part stories, with subplots that might last a year or longer.
Today it is the norm in most super-hero comics to write in "story arcs," a four- to eight-part story, with each issue serving as a "chapter" to that story, that may crossover into the title's larger family of books, or into other titles completely.
The storytelling technique in these comic books is referred to as "decompressed," because scenes are "allowed to breathe." Instead of rushing from one scene to the next at a breakneck pace, the writer can linger on a scene or even a specific moment, in order to allow it to develop more fully.
The style may be typified (or even stereotyped) by a sequence of images that do not change and have no text, to indicate that a character is thinking, or the writer wants to indicate a pregnant, awkward pause in the dialogue. It may also be used in a series of text-less images to bring heightened awareness to some element in those images.
Two of the first American comic books to use the style were Warren Ellis' The Authority and Brian Michael Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man. In The Authority, it was usually referred to as "cinematic style" or "widescreen style," because Ellis often used the device to "slow time down," as popularized in movies like The Matrix. In Ultimate Spider-Man, the decompression was more often used in dialogues, where two characters would talk with each other for pages.
Both titles were smash hits, and many other writers tried to emulate Ellis' and Bendis' styles, with varying degrees of success.
Even when done correctly, there are costs and benefits to decompressed storytelling. On one hand, it gives the writer an opportunity to really develop his or her thoughts (characters, action sequences, etc) more fully and really bring them into tight focus for the reader. On the other hand, with less text to read, it can shorten the reading time of an issue, leading to dissatisfaction for the reader.
One common complaint among readers is that decompression is "padding," the book, expanding a storyline in order to sell more copies of each issue, or to fill out a contract on a trade paperback collection of the series, which typically sell best when collecting 5-8 issues of a title. This is called "writing for the trade," even though both DC Comics and Marvel Comics are publishing more of their more recent collections in the hardback format first.
Manga is such a broad term and experience that it would be impossible to examine the history and cultural impact of manga and anime with within the context of this article. For the purposes of our discussion here, we'll be focusing primarily on the impact manga has had on the US comic book market.
"Manga," on its most fundamental level, is just another term for a comic book created in one of the southeast Asian countries, or one influenced by the work coming out of those countries.
Manga has had an influence on western culture for decades, from Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets/G-Force, through the live-action Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and its sequels in the 80s and 90s, to Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z today.
However, it was mostly an underground hobby in the United States, one for high school and college students. What finally pushed the popularity of manga over the top may have been the debut of Shonen Jump Magazine.
Shonen Jump, an English, monthly edition of Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump, debuted in late 2002. Among the seven stories serialized in the first issues were Naruto, One Piece, Dragonball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh! All have become major, cross-platform successes. Shonen Jump tapped into a huge underserved market for younger boys who wanted action-packed comics.
Viz, Tokyopop and other publishers capitalized on the manga explosion by making deals with Asian manga publishers to translate their original titles for an American audience and sell them in digest-sized collections. If you visit the "Graphic Novel" section of your local bookstore, chances are the shelf space for manga is 4-5 times that of American-style comics.
It's uncertain what the ultimate impact on the sales of western-style comic books will ultimately be, but they are dealing with resistance within the American comic book community. Some fans and retailers have both rebelled against the idea of carrying manga in US comic book stores. It's unclear what the reasoning behind these feelings is.
Identity Crisis was a mini-series written by best-selling Author Brad Metlzer and illustrated by Rags Morales, published by DC Comics in 2004. The seeds first planted by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons in The Watchmen in 1986 finally reach their full fruition here.
Identity Crisis deals with subjects such as rape, murder, human rights violations, madness, corruption and deception in a very frank, adult manner. The Watchmen dealt with all of those themes as well, but Identity Crisis was the first time they were the focus in a title set firmly in the DC Universe. These were not some characters who were created for the sake of the story, they were icons of DC Comics' Silver Age, they were the Justice League of America.
Whether you thought Identity Crisis was a good miniseries or not (and it was a very polarizing story), you have to acknowledge that it is at least an intellectual descendent of The Watchmen. The morally ambiguous quality of the story has set the general tone in the DC Universe. Since Identity Crisis, we've seen:
  • A Justice League administrator shoot Blue Beetle in the head, killing him instantly
  • Wonder Woman break a man's neck on live TV around the world
  • Batman use (and lose control of) a computer satellite in an attempt to spy on literally everyone in the world
  • Even DC's current crossover event, "Blackest Night," has at its core the mistakes heroes made in their past literally coming back to haunt them
(A personal note: I am not passing judgment on either Identity Crisis or what's happened since. But it is impossible to argue that the DC Universe isn't a much darker place than it was even 10 years ago).
It's true that it may seem that super-hero comics are entering their sunset, as sales continue to drift lower each year. But on the other hand, it's possible that we're just around the corner from another Golden Age. It's obvious that super-hero stories on the big screen have been embraced by the masses. Perhaps, with new models of distribution like the iPhone or Longbox platforms, super-hero comics will regain their prominence in the national consciousness.
So whether we were in the modern age or the post-modern age, it is very possible that we just turned the corner into another era of comics publishing.

Top 10 Greatest Cartoonists in the History

Have you ever watched a Japanese anime? Have you ever dressed cosplay costumes at cosplay shows? Yes, I suppose all you guys answer yes. So, I can go on my article and you can get what I say. This an interesting article about Japanese anime.
As a country full of anime, Japan has exported lots of anime works to the whole world steadily for a long time. Many of them have been recognized as the classic ones, loved by tens of anime fans around the world. From May 5th, the most authoritative Japanese website Oricon Style launched a three-day poll, named Whom do you think has changed the history of Japanese anime. The final answer came out on July 17th.
Now, who is the best in your opinion? I guess there will be no argue if I say Osamu Tezuka is the number one. Every anime enthusiast knows him. He established a new narrative technique for writing the manga, build the basis of the contemporary Japanese animation performance. And he is the first cartoonist who imports the assistant system and enterprise management. Also, he is the first guy to separate boy anime and girl anime. What a great success he has achieved. He is honored as the God of manga. You could understand the importance of the giant.
Astro Boy is Osamu Tezuka's classical piece. Though, he passed away in 1989, he has become the shining example to all the following Japanese cartoonists.
Then, the second person in this list is Toriyama Akira, the writer of Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball is a household name for all the anime fans around the world, meanwhile, the father of Dragon Ball is also well known. You know, this manga has made a sales record of 193 million. I guess no one out there could sell better than it. Not long ago, a live action film Dragon Ball Evolution has been on the movie market which made the Dragon Ball fans crazy.
Fujiko Fujio, the father of Doraemon, takes the third place in this list. Since the first manga released in 1969, there are anime, theater version on show. Even there will be new theater version movies released in future.
Then, the next is Eiichiro Oda, the author of the classic One Piece. One Piece is still the winner of the first edition version's sales. And One Piece, in my opinion, is the most popular anime in the world nowadays. Then, it is Takehiko Inoue who writes Slam Dunk. Slam Dunk is greatly praised in China. All the Chinese born in 1980s have watched this lovely anime. So, he deserves the title. It seems that the two active cartoonists have a good reputation as the deceased master, and maybe we could respect as masters now.
Mizuki Shigeru, Fujio Akazuka, Machiko Hasegawa are the following masters in the list. They are all wonderful cartoonists. Miyazaki Hayao is also on the list as a modern animation master. The last one is Akimoto Osamu and Naoki Urasawa. This is a wonderful list for you, anime fans. Enjoy it and figure out the list of your own opinion.

The Advantages of Anime Over Manga

What is the core difference between anime and a manga? Most people quickly respond that one can be watched on television and the other can only be read in a comic book from left to right. However, these two different types of media can be much more similar than you may think. For example, the anime Naruto would not exist without its manga predecessor. Let me explain to you now why in my opinion the anime version of a plot always wins over the written manga one.
The first reason for my assessment is that unlike the manga the anime version allows you to see your favorite characters in full color. Instead of the old fashion black and white text frames, you can see a colorful display of moving images and artwork. It also brings you into their world and allows you to explore the land with the characters. This illusion brings you the viewer into the show and makes your imagination soar. Color is a big deal today, and the same applies to Japanese cartoon shows as well.
My second reason for the preference of Japanese animation over a written manga strip is the sound. There is no way to hear the characters speak in a comic book as you do in an anime. Being able to hear the explosions, screams, and the special effects of the show give you the illusion that you are actually there in person. This in turn will make you the viewer more excited than ever to see the next episode as soon as possible. Many Japanese corporations have caught on to this trend, and have thus transformed their manga versions to anime television shows in the process.
These two opinionated reasons as to why the anime is better than the manga are very debatable. Regardless of your side of this issue, or whether you like both ends of the spectrum, just make sure to enjoy your favorite manga with a little anime as well.

The History Of The Great Manga, One Piece

One Piece is a story of a young man named Monkey D. Luffy who was inspired by the pirate, Red-Haired Shanks. Early on in the series, 22 years before the present timeline, a pirate named Gold Roger, generally known as the Pirate King had been executed. However, before his death, Gold Roger told the crowd about his treasure, "One Piece". His death sparked what might become the Golden Era of Pirates as countless pirates set out to look for his treasure. The main character, Luffy becomes a pirate, who dreams of becoming the next Pirate King and sets out to recruit crewmates and begin his adventures. This tells the plot of One Piece. Nonetheless, this anime didn't become great over night. One Piece has a great history that would allow it to become what everyone considers to be the greatest manga ever created.
One Piece all began with the creator, Eiichiro Oda. Eiichiro Oda was inspired by Akira Toriyama's Dragonball and Dr. Slump at a young age. Since childhood, he took a liking to Vikings and he aspired to turn into a manga artist. Afterwards, Oda created Pandaman for Yudetamago's Kinnikuman. During 1992, Oda at age 17, posted the manga called Required. This got him noticed, enough to be able to join the staff in the Weekly Shonen Jump paper. There, he became an assistant under several established manga freelance writers including Shinobu Kaitani, Masaya Tokuhiro, and last but not least, Nobuhiro Watsuki. Oda had desired to make a pirate manga from his obsession with vikings during his youth, and he was also inspired through various pirate events like the discovery of the pirate vessel of Edward Teach, also known as Bleackbeard. He wrote two separate one-shots during the mid-1990s, both of which were called "Romance Dawn".
The stories introduced Monkey D. Luffy, the straw-hat wearing boy who attempts to sail the sea to become a legendary pirate. Several concepts on the eventual serialization appeared within these stories, including Luffy's inspiration for being a pirate and the mysterious power he gained from eating a special fruit that turned his body into rubber. Some may recognize this idea as it relates to One Piece's concept regarding Devil Fruits.
Around August 1997, Oda took the majority of his "Romance Dawn" ideas and started using them inside a weekly serial under the particular title "One Piece". It had been first serialized in Shonen Jump, the weekly shonen magazine owned and operated by Shueisha. The actual series quickly caught on and became popular during the initial chapters and onwords, establishing itself as one of the premiere manga series inside the magazine. At first, Oda wanted his series running for 5 years, meaning One Piece would have ended in 2002, yet he went longer than expected. Right now, everyone has no idea how many more years his story will probably take. Oda had already planned the ending from the start of One Piece. Despite just how long it will take him in order to complete it, he said he'll end One Piece the way he planned from the start.
One Piece has since spanned across the borders of Japan becoming something greater than a simple pirating tale. As time passes from its serialization, One Piece has taken different directions in its storyline at times wavering from the initial focus of the pursuit to become Pirate King. One Piece has even been noted to include many themes such as what treasure is, the meaning of justice along with the concept of chasing dreams.

Anime World in a Glance

We all knew and ever heard the word anime, but what is it really? As you know that anime is a Japanese Origin animation. They called animation with an abbreviated word anime. Now almost everyone knows characters like Naruto, Kenshin, Inuyasha, etc. Anime is developing along with manga, Japanese comic, usually popular anime came from popular manga. They then continuing their manga version with the anime version. The difference from other animation style (western style) is their visualization design.
Just like manga, anime use the same technique picturing their characters. They put the character's head as the central of the body. And you noticed that Japanese animator always draw the character to have large eyes. Different from western style animation that use more realistic size and shape of human characters, but this is one of the reason why anime has special place in their fan's heart. I myself have my own favourite anime character which I like it so much since I am in high school, Son Gokou. Yes, Dragon Ball series is the very first anime that made love anime and manga.
Their development is followed by their merchandise selling, more action figure based on various anime characters are sold and produce from time to time. Even accessories that those characters use in the movie are produced to fulfill fan's willing to act like their favourite character. You even will find that so easy to find free anime wallpapers on the net for your desktop or notebook. Anime is a Japanese animation that become popular across the world.
